This Feature Request is on behalf of a customer.
They'd like the option to ignore GPO policies when reading firewall settings, and instead go based off of the actual current firewall setting (GPO or manually configured). This will prevent false positives where group policy fails to apply and the firewall is disabled.

This 1000X!!! I've been going back and forth on ticket 114143 now trying to explain this and they aren't understanding that policy and actual are two different things. I want to know the ACTUAL status of the firewall, not the resultant policy that's applied. Policy might say firewall has to be "enabled", but what if the actual services are stalled/broken? I would love for Huntress to explain to me how this isn't a potential weakness.
