Hello,
I’m submitting a request for a feature enhancement in the Huntress Managed Identity Threat Detection and Response (IDTR) platform to support clear separation of duties between internal and external technicians.
Currently, internal teams manage sensitive tenants that should not be accessible or visible to external-facing techs. This has created challenges in managing incident alerts, tenant configurations, and role-based access controls.
Requested Enhancements:
Role-Based Access Control (RBAC):
Define technician roles as “Internal” or “External” with corresponding access scopes.
Restrict external techs from viewing or managing internal-only tenants.
Incident Contact Segmentation:
Separate incident notification routing for internal vs. external teams.
Allow tenant-level customization of incident contacts.
Console Visibility Filters:
Enable filtering or hiding of internal tenants from external-facing dashboards.
Audit and Compliance Support:
Ensure changes align with compliance frameworks such as CMMC or FedRAMP, especially for GCC customers.
These enhancements would improve operational clarity, reduce risk, and align with best practices in identity threat management. Please let us know if this is feasible or if there’s a roadmap for such functionality.
