Lifetime Awareness Leader Scores

Currently, "XP" is based on a 90-day rolling score (see below KB article on How Points Get Tabulated) which causes confusion among clients who have gamification enabled. It's demoralizing to be on the top one quarter and through no fault of your own, be on the bottom because you were the first to complete training. And worse, it's without explanation.
My suggestion would be to track both 90-day rolling and lifetime scores and have an option to display one or both for gamification purposes, understanding lifetime scores would disadvantage new hires.

I completely agree with everything you have stated and I believe that there should be even more options. Admins should be able to set up the time frame in which the points are reset whether it is 90 days, 365 days or never. I know my company wanted to do yearly rewards using the gamification system but we can't now because the points are reset 90 days after completion not even on a set calendar date.
Along side this idea there should be a way for admins to reset everyone's points to zero. Just while testing some users have begun to generate or lose points, I am aware that deleting assignments also changes point values.
